Nominating
Unfortunately nominations and selections for the 2010 program have now concluded and the 2010 program is well under way.
If you are interested in nominating for the next YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament, check in again in late January 2011 when the next round of nominations will be opened!
To nominate for Youth Parliament you must fit the following criteria:
- Be within the age of 15 - 25 years old (over the course of the program)
- Be a resident of Queensland
- Have not participated in the program more than once previously (2 year term limits apply)
- Filled out and submitted a nomination form by the close of the nominations period
All successful Youth Members are appointed by a selection panel consisting of the Youth Parliament Executive as a whole. All decisions are made based on the Executive selection criteria which ensures that all participants are selected through a fair and just process which pursues the values of the program.
