This office has an ongoing commitment to ensuring that youth are heard
and are influential in the political and policy making process. Their
financial contribution as well as endless support has been a huge help for the
Youth Parliament organising team. The website Generate provides forums
for our Youth to discuss topics of relevance with other youth across Queensland
and hear the opinions of youth from rural and remote areas. Working
together to achieve a voice for youth, the Office for Youth and the Youth
Parliament Executive have built up a very good rapport.
The Queensland State Government – Gambling Community Benefit Fund
Throughout the years the State Council of the YMCAs Queensland has benefited from the kind assistance of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
